The Humantay Lagoon is another wonder of the natural formation, which is located in the Andes, Peru, in the Vilcabamba or Salkantay mountain chain. Surrounded by snow mountains with crystalline waters with a characteristic blue color, it is in the course of one of the most important roads to Machupicchu Salkantay Trek. It is a full day tour.
Itinerary
We leave Cusco at 4:30 am and then go for three hours to the town of Mollepata where we will have our breakfast and then for another hour we go to the starting point Soraypampa, from here we go up the mountain for an hour and a half approximately up to the humantay lagoon after the photo session we will depart to the starting point and then return in the transport to mollepata where we will have our lunch.
